She brings more than twenty years experience advising families and businesses as private legal counsel, as corporate tax counsel, and as a consultant in banking and private wealth environments. Her work reflects a steady, thoughtful approach shaped by leadership roles at national financial institutions and deep technical knowledge in tax and estate planning.
She began her career as a law clerk for the Chief United States District Court Judge Graham Mullen in the Western District of North Carolina, where she wrote a published opinion addressing whether tax attributes inure to a bankruptcy trustee. In addition to her work as a trusted advisor to her clients, she has continued to speak and publish regularly on topics spanning tax and estate planning, and has been featured in various news publications.
